Why most site data analytics efforts stall
Plenty of operators have tried to make more of their data. Most efforts stall for the same reason. They start with a dashboard, not a decision.
A dashboard shows numbers. It does not tell anyone what to do differently tomorrow morning. Real value comes from asking a narrower question first. Where, specifically, does this data change a decision? Which zone gets a new physical barrier because near miss data shows a pattern there?
